You'd probably never guess but I'm N0WAE. (Wild American Elk)  My QTH is Longmont CO. Formally WD4RPO when I lived in Huntsville AL.  My first licence was a TechPlus that I earned in 1978. From there I upgraded to General and started enjoying HF. (It's a hoot to talk to people in other countries.) Thanks to Ellie / N0QCX  I was encouraged (kicked in the butt) to study for the Extra Class test which I passed in 2002. I'm not a 'power talker' but I do enjoy Ham Radio and the security it gives me when I'm solo 4-wheeling in remote places where cell phones don't work.

Well I have to blame NØWAE for my addiction to Ham radio

KB8PXV is the call, QTH is currently Aurora, CO - Tech license since '93, most often found bouncing packets off the ISS.  Do a little APRS also.  Maybe I'll actually use the microphone one of these days like KC0UYK keeps heckeling me about, or maybe not ;)
