    Mt. Alto Picnic Area CITO

    GCCO has been working with Boulder County trying to build a relationship with those involved with their Open Spaces.  This CITO event is our opportunity to show Boulder County Rangers that we give back to the community. 

    With the current BCOS (Boulder County Open Space) regulations, it requires some of the Ranger's time to ensure compliance with their rules.  That puts a strain on their ability to fulfill their other obligations. 

    This is where we can help!  On August 2nd we are working with Boulder County in the Mt. Alto picnic area.  We will be picking up trash from campers/picnicers, and pulling seeds from Parry's oatgrass.

    We're looking for a strong showing from the community, to show Boulder County how we (geocachers) can give back.  Hopefully this will be the beginning of a new era between Geocachers and Boulder County!
