    Crosier Mountain

Why is Crosier Mountain the most talked about mountain in this forum?  Colorado has more than 500 mountain peaks that exceed 4,000 meters (13,123 ft) elevation, while Crosier Mountain is merely ~9,300 ft.  What am I missing?  Should I be caching up there at my next opportunity?  Wink [;)]

While I can't speak to the silence from the 500 mountain peaks that aren't mentioned, I have hiked Crosier and enjoyed the hike.  Tahosa's Last Patrol was up there, and a group of 14 (13 at times) went up one side and down the other.  All in all it was a 12 mile hike with fantastic views.
