n0wae:Glad you all had fun! I see you found the route I mentioned as an additional waypoint on the Option cache page. Instead of the moderate FDR221 (blue) route you took the extreme (red) route! I should have known all of red rubicons would go that way!!!

Red Route? Yep, that's the way we went down. But we took the blue route back up.
I could lie and say we picked the Red Route because it was more of a
challenge, but the reality was that we missed the optional cache on the
way up so we headed back down Switzerland Trail looking for a trail
heading over the edge down to the cache. The Red Route was the first
thing we came to and I said something like "This must be it, lets go".
Once we started down, there was no going back. Of course we didn't
bother to read the cache description or pay attention to your extra
waypoint that was in our GPS. What fun would that be?
Anyhow, I would like to say nice job on the series Eric. We really enjoyed it, even if we did get done at 10:00 pm.
